and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds, not forsaking our own assembling together, as is the habit of some, but encouraging one another; and all the more as you see the day drawing near.

During this particularly challenging time, as the impact of COVID-19 grows, the world responds as expected with anxiety, fear, and self-preservation.
But we know that we cannot add an hour to our days by being anxious (Matt. 6:27). We rest assured that our heavenly Father knows what we need and He will provide until we breath our final breath. So we respond with wisdom, but differently than the world…
We press into suffering and consider others (especially those in the family of God) of more significance than ourselves (Philippians 2:3). We are called to continue to love, serve, and encourage each other through prayer, fellowship, and the Scriptures; even if that is done through digital means!!! We also want to continue to be generous and help when we are able to meet the needs of those around us.
This page has a number of resources for our church to continue to be the Body of Christ even as we practice “social distancing” and do what we must for the well-being of others.
Let us use this time as an opportunity to grow in our Love for God and for each other.
